When leasing a vehicle through US Bank, the Safe + Sound coverage term is determined by the length of the lease. For example :
- A 60 month lease will receive 60 months of coverage or 60,000 miles of coverage; whichever comes first.
- A 48 month lease will receive 48 months of coverage or 48,000 miles of coverage; whichever comes first.
- A 36 month lease will receive 36 months of coverage or 36,000 miles of coverage; whichever comes first.

When leasing through a finance source other than US Bank, the maximum coverage will be 36 months or 36,000 miles; whichever occurs first.
